For cutting tips please refer to Block 1
Always check the pic to make sure l have told you to join the right squares together. If l have made a mistake, please let me know, in my mind l am a genius, however in reality l am only human.
You need
Orange
- A: 2 x 4 1/4″ squares, cross cut each square twice to get triangles, you will only need 6 of the triangles.
Blue
- B: 1 x 4 1/4″ square, cross cut twice to get 4 triangles
Green
- C: 2 x 4 1/4″ squares, cross cut each square twice to get triangles, you will only need 6 of the triangles
Making the Block, refer to the pic
Sew A and B triangles together to make a larger triangle, you need 2 triangles
Sew C and B triangles together to make a larger triangle, you need 2 triangles
Sew C and A triangles together to make a larger triangle, you need 2 of these, join them together to make a square, will now call this the ACAC square
Sew an A triangle to each of the A triangles in the ACAC square , sew a C triangle to each of the C triangles in the ACAC square , refer to pattern pic.
Place the large square you have just created on point,
Add A/B triangle to left top corner of the large square you have created.
Add B/A triangle to the bottom right corner the large square you have created.
Add C/B triangle to the top right hand side of the large square you have created.
Add B/A triangles to the bottom right hand side of the large square you have created.
You are done and dusted, it’s an easy block, just keep referring to the pic.
