Camp is a pretty relaxed weekend for everyone including me. Its always a bit of a rush to get the workroom set up, but once everyone arrives and gets settled it runs like clockwork.
There are bottom bunks for all those attending. The only thing timetabled are the meals. I am happy to say that we have the lovely cook we have had for the last couple of camps. For those who have special dietary requirements you will have to fill out a form 2 weeks prior to camp, so that they can organise your food. I will let you know how to do that closer to the date.
The last to bed has to turn out the workroom lights and heater, l really don’t know why l am bothering to tell you this, l am usually the last to head off to bed on Friday night, l drag the Geelong girls out, it was 3.00am last camp, took us an extra hour to find all the light switches!
There are some great shops in Cowes if you want to wander down Main Street. Big W is at the roundabout in Main Steet/ Church Street, so if you need any supplies it’s not far away.
Tables, if you let me know the numbers in your group l will reserve tables for you in the workroom, will make things a lot more orderly.
Room allocation, l will have a list with room numbers and those in the rooms on display on the workroom door.
If l have left anything out let me know and l will add it.
